A preventive check-up detects health risks and diseases early, before they cause problems – from high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol to cancer. Every registered patient over 18 is legally entitled to a free check-up once every two years. It includes a physical examination, ECG, blood and urine tests and cancer screening, and we conclude by explaining your results in detail and setting up an individual prevention plan.

We assess medical fitness for a specific job – before starting employment, when changing positions, periodically during employment and at the end of high-risk work. We have experience with a wide range of professions, including drivers, work at heights, machine operation and jobs with chemical exposure. We issue the medical certificate quickly and without unnecessary waiting, and we offer companies contractual arrangements for employee examinations as well as advice on occupational health protection.

We offer a complete vaccination service – mandatory, recommended and travel vaccines. We always assess your health individually and put together a vaccination plan based on your age, health condition and lifestyle. Vaccines are stored in a monitored cold chain, you remain under observation for 30 minutes after the injection, and we actively remind you of booster dates.

Electrocardiography records the electrical activity of the heart and helps diagnose heart rhythm disorders, ischaemic heart disease or cardiac hypertrophy. It is a fast, painless and non-invasive method – the recording itself takes less than a minute. The result is evaluated immediately on site by the doctor, digital archiving lets us compare it with previous recordings, and in the event of a serious finding we arrange a prompt referral to a cardiologist.

Laboratory tests of blood and urine provide key information about how your internal organs are working – they reveal infections, inflammation and metabolic disorders and help monitor chronic diseases and the effectiveness of treatment. Samples are processed by our partner laboratory; testing is also available directly at the Agel laboratory on the premises of Bulovka Premium Clinic. We communicate your results in person, by phone or via a secure electronic system – always with a clear explanation of what they mean.

We deal with sudden health problems that require prompt medical attention – sore throat, fever, injuries, inflammation, abdominal pain or allergic reactions. Acute patients are seen with priority during office hours, no appointment needed; we manage most conditions directly in the practice, so you avoid hours of waiting at a hospital emergency department. In acute cases we also treat unregistered patients depending on their current condition.

We provide systematic long-term care for patients with diabetes, hypertension, COPD, ischaemic heart disease, hypothyroidism or obesity: regular check-ups, laboratory monitoring, medication adjustments and coordination of care with specialists. This includes lifestyle education for patients and their families as well as dressing changes for chronic wounds. The goal is to keep the disease well controlled and prevent complications and hospital stays.

We prepare you medically for travel abroad, especially to tropical and subtropical destinations. The consultation includes an individual risk assessment of your destination, travel vaccinations (hepatitis A and B, typhoid, yellow fever and others), prescription of antimalarials, advice on your travel first-aid kit and adjustment of treatment for chronically ill travellers. We issue an international vaccination certificate; ideally, come for the consultation 4 months before departure.

You can handle questions, prescription requests or a phone consultation with the doctor electronically, and you have access to your test results via a secure patient portal.
